The MU-1 (Metaverse Uploader) is a device that uploads its wearer into the metaverse.
- Dr. Tanaki Lingonberry used it to fight S̖̍k̭̉e̖̍l̺̀ḙ̈́t̖̍ỏ̺n͎̉ in The Not So Great Ohio Incident of 1969. S̖̍k̭̉e̖̍l̺̀ḙ̈́t̖̍ỏ̺n͎̉ lived in software, so the fight had to happen there.
- It was not wireless yet. A cable tethered its wearer to a machine.
- In 1969 the cable ran to an aeroplane's black box. That is how Tanaki Lingonberry (Prime) survived.
